Hunter Clark
Raised on a farm, grew up by the ocean, living in a gym, only to fall in love with stories.
Hunter Clark is an East Coast-based Director, Writer, Producer, and Casting Director, specializing in character-driven stories inspired by family, community, and sports. He believes storytelling brings people together.
His work ranges from small, guerrilla projects like Our Last Steps, which showcases his resourcefulness in filmmaking, to documentaries such as Craft, focusing on young athletes’ mental health, and series pilots like Open Gym about the fading presence of community centers.
With a background in sports videography, writing, and directing, and a degree from Montclair State University, I have a balance of grassroots filmmaking and academic training.
With a genre focus in Drama, comedy, thriller, and sports, his themes focus on community, passion vs obsession, and family. Using practical and organic filmmaking language to accomplish a grounded and relatable world.
Currently, he is developing a sports drama/sociological thriller on concussions in youth athletics, aiming to raise awareness and unite audiences through impactful storytelling.
